Founded under the vision and leadership of Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Maifata, Umza International Farms has grown from a rice-focused business into a diversified food-processing enterprise serving the Nigerian market.
Rice milling and edible oil, under one roof.
The company operates through two principal businesses: Umza Rice Mill and Umza Oil Mills. Together they produce packaged rice, Rice Bran Oil and Soya Bean Oil for households, retailers, distributors, food businesses and institutional customers.
Umza Rice Mill has an annual processing capacity of approximately 200,000 metric tonnes of paddy. Rice Bran Oil is produced from the bran generated during milling, a direct link between the two businesses.
Our direction is centred on strengthening production, product quality, distribution and market reach, building a broader Nigerian food-processing platform with longer-term ambitions for wider African markets.
