Privacy Policy
Last updated 26 September 2026.
Umza International Farms Limited (“Umza”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. It is written with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 in mind.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to send us through the forms on this website:
- Become a distributor: your name, company or business, email, phone, the type of business, where you operate, the products you want to distribute, your expected volume, and any message.
- Apply as a farmer: your name, phone number, community or local government area, email (optional), farm size and any message.
- Contact: your name, company, email, phone and your message.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Staff who sign in to manage the website receive a login cookie; visitors do not need one.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, and to consider your distributor or outgrower application.
- To send you a confirmation email with your reference number.
- To keep a record of enquiries so our team can follow up.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you tick the box on a form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without asking you first.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is seen by the Umza staff who handle it. We use trusted service providers to run the website: Cloudflare (hosting and storage) and Zoho ZeptoMail (sending confirmation and notification emails). They process information only on our behalf. Some of this processing may take place outside Nigeria, with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and for our reasonable business records, and then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at info@umzafarms.com and we will respond as soon as we can. You may also contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
